An unusual big 19C. Jambiya dagger from India. The curved blade is 12 ½ inches long (compared to the usual 7-8 inches). It has a central rib and thickened tip. The hilt is classical I shaped made from dark red brown wood. The scabbard is wood covered with black leather. The tip is steel (A recent replacement). Very impressive blade in good condition with minor pitting only. The scabbard is slightly damaged and one of the side seams is partially open. Few leather pieces are missing. It is offered here at a very low price, less than the blade value only.
