This Chinese side arm / Short sword has a short heavy blade, 20 ½ nches long, more than ½ inches thick at its base, forged from laminated steel. The wood is carved grip and the D guard is brass. The scabbard is leather. Good condition. Few blackened area and minor edge nicks on the blade. The scabbard has some old repair sewing and its tip is worn. Real good sword.
