A dagger of good quality from the west Sahara, probably from the Mandingo tribe. Good blade 13 ½ inches long with a 7 inches long back edge. Hard wood grip with long steel collar and nicely decorated bolster. Brass pommel cover. Good condition. Few blackened areas on the blade but no serious pitting.
