The wootz blade is forged in the pattern known as Kirk Narduban, characterized by the vertical “lines” along the blade and also known as Ladder pattern. 9 inches long, gold inlaid (true inlay) on the base, bolsters and grip strap. Walrus Ivory grips carved entirely from the inner, marble like sector of the tusk. Total length 14 inches. Very good condition. Most of the gold inlay is intact, except from part of the inlay on the right bolster.
