Very Fine Indo-Arab set of Kard Knife and Jambiya Dagger - 14748
This fine set of Kard Knife and Jambiya dagger was probably carried and or traded with wealthy Arabs from central and south India. Made in Hyderabad around 1900, The blade are very well forged (wootz steel on the kard blade and probably the same on the Jambiya). 6 and 7 inches long blades. Dark brown composite material handles inlayed with gold foils in a very fine floral pattern. Total lengths10 and 12 inches. Very good plus condition. No scabbards. Very fine and elegant set.
