This Khanjarli is a very rare form of Indian Khanjar with a strongly re-curving blade, multi fullered and 8 inches long. The hilt is composed of six ivory sectors with a big lunette shaped pommel riveted to the tang with silver rivets rosettes. Later wood scabbard covered with red fabric. Total length 13 inches. Good condition. Few blackened areas on the blade but no pitting. One of the pommel sides is partially broken (very old breakage) and few other small chips on the grips. Excellent age patina on the ivory. It is probably an 18 Century authentic piece and very rare item at surprisingly low price.
