Rare "Tribal" Wootz Kard from Central Asia - 14731

This type of kard knife is coming probably from North Afghanistan or otherwise central Asian country, and some times refer to as Tribal Kard. This one is mid 19C. with a sham blade (Low contrast middle eastern wootz steel) 12 inches long. The grip is of cylindrical form, composed of alternating sectors of bone and black horn with brass separators, decorated with metal nails and inserts. Later leather on wood scabbard with bonee tip. Total length 16 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Old scratches on the blade. A rare exemplar.
