Lot of 8 Daggers / Letter Openers, WW1 Souvenir from POW Camp in Germany - 14624


Text: This lot of small knives / letter openers was made by a French Prisoner of War (POW), one Mr. Victor Cluet in the POW camp in Rastatt, Germany, 1914 - 1916. All hand forged, probably from big nails, engraved Souvenir du Prisonnier Francais or a similar phrase, name of the maker Victor Cluet , the camp Rastatt and the dates 1914 - 15 - 16 in various styles. Blades 4 - 6 inches, total 7 - 9 inches. Very good workmanship. Very good condition. A fine war souvenir.
