From India, mid 19C. good fighting Khanda. Wootz blade 25 inches long 2 1/2 inches wide, pierced at the tip (May be from excess etching). Classical cup handle with long pommel spike, decorated with silver koftgari work. Grip bound with leather. Fabric covered scabbard with white metal mounts. Total length 34 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Blade needs a good polish and etch to bring out the steel pattern.
