A variant of the classical Moroccan ‘Koumaya’ curved dagger is the ‘Genoui’ with straight blade. The name literally means from Genoa, probably to indicate its ancient source. The straight blade is cut from an old sword and fitted with a Rhino horn grip and a small size cross guard. It comes with a braided baldric belt very similar to those mounted on the Koumaya daggers.
