This Mail shirt is most probably Caucasian (or Ottoman), 18C. Light weight, about 6 Kg. Heavy gauge rings on the back shoulders. Alternating rows arrangement: One riveted rings and one forge welded rings. This arrangement of rings is attributed to Circassia, and these mail armors were sold all over the middle east. This mail armor was on display for several years in the Maritime Museum in Haifa, Israel.
