Whole silver Assib Jambiya from the Asir region in North West Yemen on the red sea shores. Very good and well forged blade 7 inches long with a pronounced central rib. Finely chased whole silver handle with side horns to the pommel. Whole silver scabbard with fine silver filigree decoration. Total length 12 ½ inches. Very good condition. Good and homogenous age patina on both the blade and the silver work. Early - mid 20C.
