This Jambiya dagger is a fine example of Daggers made for wealthy Arabs residing in India. It is a fine mix of Arab and Indian styles of weaponry and decoration. The shape is of a classical Arab style where as the materials and decoration is classical 19C. Indian. The curved double edge blade is 8 inches long with a central rib. The handle is silver very clean and elegantly made. Silver scabbard chased with intricate floral design. Very good condition. total 12 inches long. a fine item.
