Very Good Throwing Knife of the Gbaya - Ngbaka, Zaire, Africa - 14496


This type of throwing knife is associated with the group of tribes belonging to the Gbaya - Ngbaka people, mostly residing in Zaire. It is characterize by the Sickle shaped main blade and two straight side blade the upper one being bigger and wider. This very good example is 18 inches long and about 14 inches wide, very well forged and well decorated with geometric line design. Original hide covered handle. Very good condition.
