The Parang Latok is a rare Sword / Machete from Kalimantan (Borneo). It is characterized by the heavy wedge blade widening toward the tip and the hilt abruptly bent upward, allowing two hands grip of the sword. This exemplar is of very good quality and authentic. Massive laminated blade 19 1/2 inches long, 3/4 inche( 19 mm) thick near the hilt. Carved bone hilt with a brass collar. Total length 24 inches. Very good condition.
