This Kris is early version, probably late 18 to early 19 C. The fine blade is forged from twisted steel core, forge welded between high carbon steel hard edges. Wavy blade 20 inches long with might be inscription on both sides of the blade. One steel clamp is reinforcing the blade in the handle. The grip is bound with fiber. Ivory Cockatoo style pommel. Total length 24 inches. Very good condition. Fine age patina on the pommel. No scabbard.
