This heavy Kattar dagger is coming from Rajasthan, India, early 19 C. The whole Kattar, blade and handle are forged from crystalline Wootz (Watered, Damascus) steel. Blade with a central rib in the middle of a wide fuller, reinforced edges and thickened tip is 10 inches long 3 inches wide. Polished and etched leaving the edges and the tip polished. Leather covered scabbard with a steel tip. Total length 21inches. Very good condition
