This MANDAU (sometimes also called “Parang Ihlang”) is early 20th centruy with a heavy 17 1/2 inches long thick and very well made blade. The handle is “L” shaped, carved from antler and bound with braided rattan strips. Carved wood scabbard bound with rattan strips. Origjnal bradied rattan belt. Total length 21 1/2 inches. Very good condition. A good piece of better quality than average for real use.
