This large spear is early - mid 20C. Congo (we are not sure about the exact tribe). Very well made and in excellent condition. Massive 23 inches long, 3 inches wide blade with nicely forged central rib. Haft tightly bound with leather strip and alternately bands of copper brass and steel. Central swollen and carved grip. Tubular steel tail. Total length 61 inches. very good plus condition. Very impressive spear.
