This outstanding axe in steel is Mogul, 18 C. probably from Central India. The haft is 20 1/2 inches long. The crescent blade is heavy, 5 inches point to point ending in an antelope head all forged in steel. All parts are decorated with silver koftgari work. Very good condition. Good patina on all parts. Losses to the silver inlay. The blade is slightly loose.
