Kothimora,literally the Khukuri of the rich man are well made, richly decorated and silver mounted. Here is one fine Kothimora, with 13 1/2 inches long. The handle is finely chased silver. The scabbard is covered with leather and mounted with big silver locket and chape inscribed with Hindu inscription. Silver chain set with a small red stone. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. The back side compartment for the side knives is missing. Very minor grindingf signs on the blade.
