This Khanjar dagger is Persian, Qajar period, mid – Late 19C. The high quality blade is 10 inches long with pronounced central rib finely etched to imitate Wootz pattern. The upper part of the blade is engraved with a typical Qajar scene. The whole steel handle is chiseled. Total length 14 ½ inches. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots. No scabbard.
