This is a beautiful late 18 or early 19 C. Khanda Sword and one of quality. The straight heavy blade forged from pattern welded steel (Damascus) is 31 inches long, double edge and reinforced on one edges with a long decorative steel bar. The handle is basket shaped, whole steel construction with a 4 inches long back spike. The grip and inner basket side are padded with leather and fabric (later). Total length 41 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
