Very fine two handed Dah sword. Slightly up-curving 23 inches very well forged blade of classical form. Two handed 13 inches long handle with extremely fine carved ivory grip and silver mounts. Onion shaped silver pommel. Scabbard covered with silver bands and mounts. Total length 38 inches. Very good condition. Minor damage to the silver cover of the scabbard. The big onion shaped pommel suggests a Thai origin. Late 19 C. A very impressive sword.
