It conceal a short steel pike 3 inches long mounted with a long brass bolster on a long branch of a tree. Engraved brass mounts with inscription GUERNIKAKO 1924 (The name of a local oak tree symbolizing the fight for freedom of the Basque people) and LERRESSOBB may be the owner name. Head knob is horn.
