This very fine dagger is Turkish, mid 19C. The blade is 13 1/2 inches long, with central rib and gold inscription at the top. The handle as well as the scabbard are made from finely carved ebony. Total length 21 inches. Good condition seam of scabbard lightly open. Very rare and impressive.
