This Jambiya dagger is Yemenite, Assib style probably from Sanaa area mid 20 C. Massive blade with pronounced central rib, 8 inches long 2 1/2 inches wide. Horn grip with steel nails and brass imitation coins. Leather covered scabbard with filigree style silver locket and chape. Total length 13 inches. This dagger comes with its original brocade belt. Very good condition.
