Up for sale a very nice and rare early Indian short sword. It has a rare wood handle inlaid with engraved bone sectors. The single egded blade is 26 inches long with steel bolsters and crossguard. This sword is very early probably late 17c or early 18th century. The work on the handle is typical to wood inlay work on other objects made in Vizianagaram. Vizianagaram is located in the east cost of India and was a center of art works in the 17 and 18 century.
