Rare Small "Bird" Shape Throwing Knife of the Fang / Kota - 14207

This type of throwing knives is typical to the fang and Kota people of Cameroon. The shape of the blade is in the style of a bird head with a triangular eye cut into it. This specific exemplar is smaller than usual, 8 inches blade (compared to 12-13 inches in the bigger exemplars). Wood handle bound with brass strips. Very good condition. It is shown below next to a more common exemplars with a 12 inches blade.
