Up for sale is this classical Yataghan sword from the Balkan region of the Ottoman empire. The blade is 27 inches long decorated with silver Koftgari work singed and dated 1289 in the Islamic celander corresponds to 1872 in the Gregorian celander. Walrus grips with big side ears and chased silver grip strap and bolsters set with corals. Total length 31 inches. Very Good condition.
