This Jambiya dagger is Yemenite, Assib style probably from Sa'da region, early 20 C or earlier. Blade 7 inches long. Horn grip with silver mounts and silver filigree collar. leather covered scabbard with big filigree silver locket and chape, decorated with red colored stone (glass?) and big carnelian stone at the tip of the chape. Total length 12 inches. Good condition. Good early exemplar.
