This very fine Karud dagger, the straight blade version of the Pesh Kabz, is coming from North India. late 18 C. with a very good high contrast wootz blade, pronounces T spine and acute tip. Blade length 13 inches. very Finely carved elephant ivory grips with floral design, signed and marked. Very good age patina on the grips. Total length 18 inches. Very good condition. Minor age cracks and early small repairs on the grips but holds very solid. A very impressive dagger.
