From the island of Sardinia in the Western Mediterranean comes this scarce long gun. Slender barrel, 52 inches long with a fine unusual variety of a Miquelet lock signed by the maker (or owner ?). Wood stock mounted with finely chiseled and pierced steel plates all around. Total length 65 inches. Very good condition. Lock in very good working order. Minor wood chips and dents on the steel mounts. Minor repairs on the butt. The ramrod is missing. A fine scarce item.
