The BULLOVA is the traditional fighting axe of the Chota Nagpur aboriginal tribes of central India. The blade is of distinct lunette shape (unusual) hand forged steel. It is 5 ½ inches tip to tip. It is mounted on a dark wood shaft through its heavy socket, secured in place by this steel sheet below the axe socket. Very good condition. Minor edge nicks. attractive price.
