This fine carving set, probably used in hunting is German, prior 1800. Knife and fork of similar structure and decoration. The blade is etched with inscription. The grips are ebony set with white metal and Mother of Pearl inserts and engraved white metal grip straps. Blades 6 1/2 and 7 inches. Total 10 1/2 and 11 inches. Very good condition
