This sword is coming from Bhutan, late 19 - early 20 C. Very heavy, single edge blade 26 inches long laminated and folded steel in the pattern known as “hair pin”. Handle covered with twisted silver wires and a large brass pommel. Scabbard covered with black leather with a big white metal mounts. Total length 32 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Minor dents on the locket.
