A version of the famous Kattar (Katar). A development stage between the Pata, the long gauntlet sword and the Kattar, the short push dagger. Finely fullered blade 10 inches long. The side bars and the hood are finely chiseled with floral scenes and bird and a styled monster head shaped tip. 17 inches total length. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade. Hood is very slightly inclined to one side.
