This sword is of Persian origin and it is also known as Quadara. A similar sword is found in central Asian countries and in the Caucasus. This specimen has a 25 inches long and massive single edge blades with a 7 inches false edge. The blade is fullered with fine deep maker marks. The grips are black Buffalo horn mounted with three rivets over old Silver coins. newly made scabbard but with the original chased silver locket. Total length 33 inches. Very good condition.
