Throwing Knife of the Gbaya People from Cameroon - 13953


This rare form of throwing knife is used by the Gbaya people residing in Cameroon and Central African Republic. It is 27 inches long, forged from good steel with ribs on its front face . The handle is bound with the original braided leather strips. Early 20C. Very good condition. Minor pitted spots on the steel. For a very similar knife, see P.
