A loop dagger of the TIV people residing on the Niger river in Nigeria. Very typical but unusual whole steel construction with the ring hilt forged in one piece with the blade. Spear head shaped 5 inches long blade with a central rib ending with an acute tip. Filed and chiseled ring handle. Total length 8 inches. Very good condition. Quite unusual and very elegant piece.
