This fine Jambiya dagger is Yemenite, probably from the Tihama region in the west of Yemen, but similar styles can be found up to Mecca in the north and Hadramouth in the south. Early – mid 20 C. Blade 8 inches, curved and double edged, with a pronounced central rib. Whole heavy silver handle and scabbard . Total length 13 inches. Very good condition. Small old repairs on the handle.
