This sword is common between the Lobala / Ngbaka people of central Zaire. There are many legends concerning the use of this type of sword for execution. Either it is right or wrong, it is definitely a very impressive sword and always was regarded as a symbol of status. This one is of the double blade form, 20 inches long very well forged blade.
