This fine heavy knife is a version of a Dah, probably Burma, early to mid 19 C. The heavy down curving fullered blade is 9 1/2 inches long. The handle is finely carved from a single piece elephant ivory with a silver collar. Total length 15 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Good age patina on the ivory. No scabbard. Fine and impressive item.
