This sickle shaped sword is coming from Zaire, Africa, most probably the Ngombe people. Very finely forged steel blade of flat diamond cross section and lightly engraved and inserted with copper inserts. Hardwood handle bound with copper strips. Blade 20 inches, total length 23 inches. Very good condition.
