This fine dagger is used by the Tuareg people from the west Sahara. early - mid 20 C. of very good quality. Massive blade 9 inches long, slightly curved and partially double edge in a similar style to the Moroccan Koumaya. 3 inches silver / copper bolster. Black wood handle with silver wire inserts and large square pommel with engraved silver panels. Brass silver and copper scabbard. Total length 17 inches. Very good condition. Impressive dagger.
