Up for sale is this fine Knife / dagger from Tibet with a strong influence from Bhutan. Heavy blade 13 inches long forged from folded laminated steel in the structure known as Hairpin pattern and deeply etched to emphasize the steel pattern. Grip bound with twisted silver wires and with pierced and gilded silver pommel cap. Scabbard bound with natural color sting ray skin and mounted with finely chased and partially gilded silver locket and chape. Total length 16 ¼ inches. Very good condition
