Up for sale is this very good Vietnamese saber also known as Guom. The single edged fullered blade is slightly curved 25 inches long. The hilt is finely engraved bone grip with brass lion head pommel and engraved brass cross guard and D guard. The scabbard is wood with fine chased brass fittings and inlaid in an intricate pattern of Mother of Pearl decoration. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition.
