This Nimcha style sword is actually made by Omani craftsman in Zanzibar and elsewhere in East Africa. Second half of the 19C. Sabre style curved blade 26 1/3 inches long. Ivory handle set with gilded silver panels. Silver cross guard and D guard. Total length 32 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. A rare sword.
