Up for sale is this very interesting combination of the two representing swords of the Turkish culture: Kilij and Ytaghan. This sword employ an early 18 C. blade forged from fine twisted steel in the pattern known as Turkish Ribbon . It was mounted with a later, 19 C. Kilij shape handle, with horn grips and silver grip strap and bolsters. Blade 17 1/2 inches. Total length 23 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
