This sword is coming from Eastern Assam or North Burma. Very long and massive blade with ridged spine, forged from laminated steel with heat hardened edge. Brass handle bound with brass mash. An open wood scabbard with several rattan bands holding the blade in place. Blade 27 inches. Total length 40 inches. Very good condition.
